MEET VANESSA

As the founder of Out in Front College Counseling, she is a powerhouse of knowledge, expertise, and experience to guide families through the competitive college admissions arena.

Vanessa has been advising students since 1993 and in between, was a successful New York City litigator and Head of School of one of the largest private schools in South Florida. Her ability to tell a story is unmatched and gives her students a competitive advantage - putting them Out in Front.

As an excellent resource about current programs and trends in independent school, college, and graduate admissions processes, Vanessa is often called upon for advice by some of the most prominent counselors in the country. She is a professional member of the highest regarded regional and national college counseling associations.

Vanessa is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, from which she graduated with honors. She received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and was an Editor of the Hofstra Law Review.  She was an adjunct professor in Legal Ethics and Persuasive Writing in two New York colleges.

Vanessa loves getting to know her clients and treats each child as her own. When she is not working, Vanessa enjoys painting, writing, and spending time with her eight children.
